Let's face it...living in small towns, there's really not much concern about terrorism locally. Now if you start seeing some strange towelheads running around, that's a different story.
And about the video about the explosions...with the increased fatigue on the remaining structural braces, when they finally gave way, I would have imagined it would have released so much pressure as to sound like multiple explosions going off. No need for people to read into this tragic event any more than what already is.

Not long after 9/11, I was with my parents and we stopped at a gas station in wise. My dad was driving and when we pulled in we saw a man with a towel around his head. My dad started saying every cuss word you could imagine. He then circled around this man 2 times cursing every breathe before he parked and got gas. You talk about hate, well rest assure that the US hates Bin Laden and all his followers.

I think its impossible to have not been affected in someway by the attacks on 9/11, where it has been directly or indirectly, everyone has been affected, think not?! Have you gotten your license renewed? Have you had a change of address? Maybe you have flown somewhere, maybe you just have visitied a large city for a ball game. If you have done any of these, or basically if you have been breathing you have been affected on some level.
Just because some foriegn immigrant has a towel on his head doesnt mean he is a Bin Laden follower. This is a prime reason why we shouldnt hate on anyone, just another reason for us to be hated if we treat ppl this poorly.
Yes I agree with you, but my dad is not the type to feel compassion like I would. At that time my brother was over in Iraq in the war and my dad just looked at this war as them against us. I know there are those in Iraq that hated Sadaam and all that he stood for and I do have compassion for them. My dad is set in his ways and he sees things his way, not saying he is right in any way. He really gets stirred over Sadaam and what some of the Iraqs stand for. Just his opinion. Myself I got so tickeled at him, he was so calm until we pulled into the gas station and then all **** broke loose. I don't agree with treating them any different than me, but in some's eyes who can you trust today?
